During the years of membership in the Francophone University Association (Agence universitaire de la francophonie – AUF) Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics became a member of several small projects that have received funding of association. AUF supports the mobility of teachers and students, including – their participation in the Festival of French-speaking students, which is held annually in the city of Bucharest ( Romania).

The activity of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics as part of AUF was highly appreciated by the partner universities and the university rector prof. Volodymyr Ponomarenko in 2012 became the sole representative of Ukraine in a project expert group of AUF. The Rector was also ellected to the Office of Associate Members of AUF, and he takes constant participation in the meetings of the Council of Rectors CONFRECO. In 2012, the University was invited to participate in the project of «Centre de reussite universitaire» with funding from the AUF.
Thus, in 2013, in cooperation with AUF University success Centre of the World Agency of La Francophonie Centre was established with the assistance of the Bureau of Eastern and Central Europe of AUF. It is one of two centres created in Ukraine and one of 32 centres in the world. The mission of the centre is to provide free educational services for language training citizens access to teaching materials and electronic resources AUF. The centre is equipped with the latest technology, and it contributes to the peace process of modernization of the educational process and more active use of interactive teaching methods, as well as a basis for joint development of francophone education programs and projects.
