On January 27, 2022, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics visited the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet.
During the visit, the guests of Honour visited the FabLab laboratory with 3D modelling, 3D printing, prototyping and technical creativity capabilities. They got acquainted with the school of robotics and programming. Robots created by students of grades 3-11, as well as industrial robots for mine clearance have been demonstrated. They visited the student space – a Co-working centre.
Special attention was paid to demonstrations of the results of applying immersive technologies, such as virtual sculptures (VR), augmented reality (AR) to the exhibits of the University’s Art Gallery, etc., which are developed by masters of the S. Kuznets KHNUE.
With the support of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, the third consecutive year, the university hosts the All-Ukrainian ZNO BOT CHALLENGE Championship in preparation for ZNO in mathematics (https://t.me/HNEU_ZNO_math_bot); history of Ukraine (https://t.me/HNEU_ZNO_history_bot); Ukrainian language and literature (https://t.me/zno_ukr_hneu_bot the number of users in chatbots is about 35 thousand people.
As part of the implementation of the concept of a new Ukrainian school, S. Kuznets KHNUE works on a pro bono basis to improve the information and digital competence of Kharkiv school teachers. Special attention is paid to the introduction of IT-technologies in all academic disciplines of secondary schools. More than 2,000 teachers have completed such advanced training.
At the end of the visit, the Minister made an entry in the Book of Honourable Guests.
