Presentation of cooperation programs from the National Agency for Academic Exchanges (Warsaw) and Polish universities was held at Simon Kuznets University

November 13, 2018 with the assistance and by the invitation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv delegation of the National Agency for Academic Exchanges (Warsaw) and representatives of more than 20 higher educational institutions from Poland visited Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics and met with researchers, scientist and students of Kharkiv universities.

The event was held with the participation of the Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv, Jan Zdanowsky, heads of Polish-Ukrainian organizations and academic Polish-Ukrainian centers of Kharkiv.

The representative of the National Agency for Academic Exchanges Michal Kaczmarek said that the agency conducts activities and promotes cooperation in four main areas – internationalization of higher education institutions, students, conducting joint research, learning Polish.

During the meeting, the presentation of Polish curricula, scholarships, study opportunities, academic exchanges and contacts with representatives of the Polish community and academic institutions of Kharkiv took place. At the suggestion of the Consulate General, special attention was paid to the issues of two diplomas programs and academic internships for teachers.

Presentations of particular interest were by the representatives of the University of Economics in Katowice, the Poznan University of Economics and Business, the University of Silesia in Katowice, the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin.

As a result of the meeting agreements on the organization of cooperation were reached. Representatives of Polish universities received information materials about our university and an invitation to conferences being held at the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.
