Certification
The postgraduate certification is conducted at the department, they are allotted to (where the research advisor works at) twice a year upon completion of each term of postgraduate training: interim attestation – in January-February; the final – in September (until September 15-th).

At least 3 weeks before the beginning of the postgraduate certification period, the composition of the departments’ certification commissions is determined by the rector’s order.
Prior to the certification at the department, the postgraduate student has to provide the chairperson and members of the certification committee (experts of the department) with the following documents: report on the implementation of an individual work plan for a postgraduate (signed by a postgraduate and a research advisor); materials confirming the implementation indicated in the report, the planned indicators of educational and scientific activity of the postgraduate (photocopies of articles and abstracts, certificates on participation in the development of scientific topics, etc.);Postgraduate’s ndividual work plan of the (in duplicate).
During the certification at the department meeting, the postgraduate is providing a report and a visual presentation of the actual results of theterm. (and generally in graduate school) focusing on the main results of the research work, theirtopicality, scientific novelty and applied significance, research methods, and methods used in this process, the reliability of the results obtained and the degree of their approbation ..
The results of the certification of each of the postgraduates at the department are recorded in the minutes of the department meeting and both copies of the individual work plan of postgraduate (signed by the postgraduate , the head of the department, the chairman and members of the certification committee of the department,research advisor). After conducting the certification at the department – no later than the last day of postgraduate’s certification period at the University – the postgraduate student submits the following documents to the Postgraduate Study Department: extract from the minutes of the department meeting on the consideration of the issue of postgraduates’ certification (extract from the minutes of the department meeting on the consideration of the issue of postgraduates’ certification must contain a general conclusion on the degree of postgraduate’s performance planned for the current term and recommendation to continue University’s postgraduate training or expulsion of the postgraduate from the University for failing the individual plan
2 completed forms of postgraduate individual work plan (with actual figures certified by all responsible executives for the reporting term and plans for the next term)
Reports of postgraduates are kept at the department.
