Visit of delegation of Shuaib Dukkali University, El-Judid, Kingdom of Morocco

The delegation of Chouaib Doukkali University, El Jadid, the Kingdom of Morocco, visited the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics on July 16. Representatives of the University: coordinator of the cooperation between the Chouaib Doukkali University and the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, director of the LESJEP laboratory, professor Jarraf Mohamed and deputy dean of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences, director of the LARGESS laboratory, professor Faouzi Boussedra got familiar with the educational process organization for Ukrainian and foreign students and the peculiarities of the modern educational technologies use.

During the visit, a fruitful meeting was held with the Rector of the university Volodymyr Ponomarenko, during which agreement on the possibilities of cooperation between universities in the educational, scientific and cultural spheres was reached. Collaboration at the faculty level, in particular, with the Faculty of International Economic Relations, should be the first step in agreements implementation.

Insofar as the French language is official in Morocco, guests visited the Center for University Performance and the French Club and have been interested in the development of cooperation in the context of studying French and Arabic languages at the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics. The Chouaib Doukkali University has expressed the desire to supply with methodological literature for Arabic language courses. This courses, that will starts in September 2019 for all students and teachers of Simon Kuznets KhNUE, which is an innovative step not only for Kharkiv, but also for Ukraine.

Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Volodymyr Yermachenko invited researchers from the Chouaib Doukkali University to participate in the 5th Anniversary Conference “Economic Development and Legacy of Simon Kuznets” in 2020.

Honored guests were impressed with the material and technical equipment of the laboratories, computer centers and university’s lecture hall. An excursion to the FabLab laboratory was also conducted as a result of one of the seven international projects in which the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics has a successful implementation experience. This opens up wide opportunities for the participation of both universities in international projects.

Honored guests got acquainted with the activities of the Ukrainian-Moroccan Center as the cross-cultural communication platform for Ukrainian students and the training platform for Moroccan students at Student Kuznets KhNUE and their adaptation and integration into the educational space of Ukraine, which provides the basis for the development of fruitful cooperation in future.
