Head of the department is Professor, Doctor of Economics Lepeyko Tetyana Ivanivna.

 

Management and Business Department consists of 29 teachers, including 6 Doctors of Economic Sciences, 6 Professors, 18 PhD in Economic Sciences, Associate Professors. Teachers of the department are certified specialists in the field of training, teaching economics and management in English, have business English certificates Cambridge BEC, etc.

 

 

Department of Management and Business provides training in the following areas:

 

  • Bachelors in the specialty 073 “Management”:

Specialization “Business Administration”

  • Bachelors in the specialty 073 “Management”:

Specialization “Management of creative industries”

  • Masters in 073 “Management”:

Master’s program “Business Administration” accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

  • Masters in 028 “Management of socio-cultural activity”:

Master’s program “Event Management”

  • Participants and winners of All-Ukrainian competitions of scientific works;

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS DEPARTMENT

The Department is active in international affairs, supporting international relations with the University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria (Steyer, Austria), the University of Lulea (Luleå, Sweden), the University of Labor Protection Management in Katowice (Katowice, Poland), Humanitas University (Sosnowiec, Poland), Gdańsk Development Finance Foundation (Poland) and Hakuoka University (Japan), etc.

 

 

International Master’s Program

Joint Polish and Ukrainian Master’s Degree Program “Two Diplomas” 2D!, that is implemented jointly with the University of Labor Protection in Katowice, Poland.

After completing the program students receive 2 diplomas in the following specialties:

1) Master’s degree in the specialty “Management”, specialization “Business Administration” of Simon Kuznets National University of Economics;

2) Master’s degree in “Project Management” in the field of Management of the University of Labor Protection Management in Katowice.

Admissions to the program takes place after admission to the master’s degree of specialty “Management”, specialization “Business Administration” (in English or Ukrainian) in Simon Kuznets National University of Economics (Kharkiv, Ukraine).

International Bachelor’s Programs

  • Austrian and Ukrainian program of student exchange and double degree for bachelors

This program is carried out jointly with the University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria (Steyr, Austria).

This program provides training for bachelors in two directions:

1) the specialty “Management”, the specialization “Business Administration” on the basis of Simon Kuznets National University of Economics (Kharkiv, Ukraine);

2) speciality “Marketing and Global Sales” on the basis of the University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria (Steyr, Austria).

There are two options of this program:

  • Students exchange program. After completing this program students receive a bachelor’s degree diploma in “Management”, specialization “Business Administration” of Simon Kuznets National University of Economics (Kharkiv, Ukraine) and Certificate in “Marketing and Global Sales” of University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria (Steyr, Austria).
  • Double Degree Program. After completing this program students receive two bachelor’s degree diplomas: in “Management”, specialization “Business Administration” of Simon Kuznets National University of Economics (Kharkiv, Ukraine) and in “Marketing and Global Sales” of University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria (Steyr, Austria).

The program enrolled students who study at the 2-3rd year of bachelor’s degree in specialization “Business Administration” fully in English.

  • Poland and Ukrainian Bachelor Program WSH

This program is carried out jointly with the University of Huminantas (Sosnowiec, Poland).

Graduates of the program receive two diplomas:

1) Bachelor degree in specialty “Management”, specialization “Business Administration” of Simon Kuznets National University of Economics (Kharkiv, Ukraine);

2) Bachelor degree in specialty “Human Resource Management” of University of Huminantas (Poland).

 

 

Areas of scientific research

Teachers of the Department carry out scientific developments in the following areas:

– Conceptual principles of enterprise’s management in the information economy.

– Methodology and technology of modern enterprises’ management: theoretical and practical aspects.

– Transformation of managerial technologies in the conditions of the economy of impressions.

 

Program of preparation of PhD students and Doctors of Sciences

The Department trains doctoral students and postgraduate students, and in 2016 the Management and Business Department launched a training program for PhD in Ukrainian and English.

Teachers of the department are engaged in preparation of scientific personnel of high qualification.

 

In the last years 7 candidate, 2 doctoral and 4 PhD dissertations were defended.

During the last three years, the teachers of the department issued 5 textbooks and more than 15 scientific monographs.
