The Department of accounting and business consulting is the leading link in the training of highly qualified specialists in academic degrees: “Bachelor” and “Master” in the specialty 071 “Accounting and taxation” and specializations “Accounting and audit”, “Financial and economic security” and “Business consulting » The basis for such training is both the autonomy of the law enforcement and the principles of integration into the European educational space, as well as the real needs of the national economic system for the formation of the desired competencies among graduates.
Educational and professional training programs of the department have been revised to meet the requirements of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK) and accredited. Receiving CIMA accreditation confirms the high quality of the filling of the training programs and confirms their compliance with the requirements of the best international practices of training financial specialists, because CIMA is recognized as a leader in financial qualifications in the world.
The department conducts the training of doctors of philosophy in the specialty 071 “Accounting and taxation”. Undoubtedly, the foundation of the department is its staff, which consists of teachers of high qualification level, leading active scientific activities, have practical experience and work in all faculties of the university. The department employs more than 30 teachers, 4 doctors of economics and professors, 25 candidates of economic sciences and docents. Most of them are certified CIPA accountants and certified auditors.
Graduates receive professional competencies that allow them to work as positions of manager, chief accountant, financial officer, accountant, auditor, expert accountant, business consultant, analyst, economist, auditor, specialist of the economic security service, inspector-inspector, tax consultant, and etc.
