Scientific activity at university is characterised by powerful results, dynamism and orientation on the decision of actual economic problems of the industry. Preparation of experts for economy sphere is based on association of modern and traditional methods of training, maintenance of close connection between scientific and study, introduction of results of research activities in educational process, using of modern informational and communication technologies. The university continues to develop cooperation with the enterprises. Creation of specialised branches of university chairs makes available integration of science and education with enterprise and practical training.

Mission:

  • forming of research policy of the university according to Law of Ukraine «About priority directions of development of a science and engineering» and with allowance for Recommendations of parliamentary hearings «National innovative system of Ukraine: formation and realisation problems»;
  • planning of research activities according to thematic plan of research activity;
  • organizing the first stage competitive selection of projects for basic and applied researches which should be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and financing by general fund of a public account;
  • assistance for researchers which participate in competitions (including research grant receiving) organized by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Fund of Basic researches, State Innovative Fund, Cabinet Council of Ukraine, the international funds;
  • the organizing the students research activity;
  • introduction of results of research activities in educational process;
  • university intellectual property;
  • compiling of annual reports about scientific activity of the university, represented to the Department of scientifically and technological development of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • expansion of commercial research projects of academic staff;
  • monitoring of research activity of university staff, faculties, chairs and scientific groups, assistance for improvement of their research projects and general scientific strategy.
