Site of the Faculty

The Faculty of Accounting and Audit has got long history and long-standing traditions. The tuition process and education of highly qualified specialists are facilitated by many-sided priorities of the research carried out by the Faculty’s chairs aimed at optimizing economic links between enterprises of various forms of ownership, establishing in-house system of control and analysis, developing the system of taxation as an instrument of state regulating the economy, improving accounting, developing economic and legal relations during the post-privatization period.

There are some affiliates of the Faculty’s chairs working at enterprises and organizations of Kharkiv where students have their classes. They also have their educational, analytical, production and pre-diploma traineeships there.

The specialists (both Bachelors and Masters) Specializing in Accounting and Audit are taught for work at state and public institutions, firms, enterprises and establishments (of national, regional and municipal levels). The specialist who has got a degree at the Faculty can organize accounting at enterprises and perform any work dealing with accounting and audit of financial results. The knowledge acquired enables the Faculty’s graduates both to solve the tasks incurring in economic practice, using mathematical and economic methods, to estimate and forecast economic phenomena, to ground the decisions made and to chose a strategy of the activity of the enterprise or the establishment.

The Specialist in Accounting and Audit can hold the leading positions in accounting, revision; accounting and revision; be an expert, an expert accountant, auditor as well as work in any economic unit at enterprises of various forms of ownership.

The Core Subjects are: Accounting; Administration Accounting; Finance Accounting; Control and Revision; Economic Analysis; Organization of Accounting and Control; Organization and Methods of Auditing; Organization and Methods of Tax Inspection; Finance Management.
